Toy swap

I have started a toy library arrangement with the centres we work with. 5 educational toys are circulated over five weeks. The trainees bring the toys back each week and exchange them. I teach their use carefully at the start.

The trainees use the materials during indoor play, teaching the day’s “helpers” each day. The children are given a day each week to be a helper, and on that day get extra attention and input to ensure that each child is given some more focused time each week.
