Main activity: gardens in a box
What you need:

• a beer tray with the bottom covered with earth for each child (Wet the earth slightly the day before so that it is moist to work with.)
• lots of grass cuttings (short and long)
• lots of little pebbles and gravel
• small weeds
• leaves and flowers
• little sticks and branches

What the children do:
The children use the leaves, sticks, grass and so on to make a garden or a sort of earth collage – they can do and make whatever they want to.
