Yesterday we had a work day for Khanya and Entlantleni (we try to have work days each term). 22 Roedean girls and two of their teachers arrived to help.

Tyres were placed and painted, jungle gyms were given facelifts, the toilet areas were also painted colourfully and shelves were made. Even some of the little ones got involved.

Walls were painted to give the centres a spruced-up appearance, and many trees were planted that we hope will provide essential shade.

The photos say what it is hard to say in words! The girls were really special – helpful, confident, creative and just lovely to have around.
