    Poverty is not comfortable or pretty

    I was taken to see a derelict building in Slovoville today. It is in the Roodepoort, Gauteng Municipality. At the front door (except there are no doors left leading into the building) is painted ‘Joe Slovo, ANC’. I am told that it was used as a struggle hideaway during Apartheid.
